I wouldnít take Hicksville lightly. They are back at full strength. Down 1 key key guy when they played Crestview, and 3 of their starters were out at Wayne Trace. That is in no way taking anything away from the Knights or Raiders because they both played really well against Hicksville in the regular season

Everyone on here has to agree that if Julian McGarvey played soccer they would have lost the state championship.

I thought he traveled also until I saw another angle and he actually got a dribble in as he was getting up.

Ottoville goes to BGSU if Crestview plays like they did last Friday against Parkway.

CRESTVIEW wins!!!!!!!!

72-67 in Double OT!

Ottoville played very well. Crestview lead the whole game and Ottoville came back to hit a 3 and go up by 1 with like 2 min left.
Crestview's both Etzler brothers came up huge hitting desperation 3's to send it to OT and then double OT. WOW!!!!!

Ottoville played them tough. They ended 18-6 best record in last 10 years probably. Plus the program should be good the next 3 years at least. Good luck Crestview...

Hopefully the freshman from Ottoville is ok. Heard he left the first quarter with an apparent knee injury. For Ottoville to play as good as they did down the stretch of this game with out him was something.

I gotta be honest with ya ... I saw OV 4 times. IMO, they played better when he wasn't in. He can block a few shots and grab some boards, but he doesn't bring much on the offensive end. Definite room for growth as an offensive threat.

You know I donít know about Crestview
They didnít play well against parkway. They let Ottoville back in the game last night with stupid TOs and some quick shots.
Hicksville could pull this upset.

Iím taking Hicksville by 3.

Ya I couldnít disagree more. Clearly you didnít watch enough games because heís a very good shooter and ball handler for his size. He brings a lot to the offensive end. Not to mention a pretty good defender. Itís funny, you think you know everything based on just watching a few games. By the way which games were they? Does he need improvement? Sure heís only a freshman, I think his inside game needs work. But I will say this heís good enough that not having him hurts the team. Heís made some big shots during the season towards the end of games that not having him at the end of this game did hurt.

Iím beginning to think now that it wouldnít be much of an upset. Hicksville is playing well and Crestview kind of taking a step back. I always thought that the top 6 teams in this district were very close.

How quick mysterio forgets that he said Hicksville sucks (not in that exact wording but we know what you meant).

Sterio,

I think the freshman you are talking about plays like a freshman.....I cannot be a good judge as I have only seen Ottoville 3 times, but in those games he didnít show me a lot....I thought he was tentative and thought he played soft, but hey.....heís a freshman and will improve!!!!!

I was a skeptic about Hicksville early on, but saw them beat DSJ and donít feel so much that way now......the big thing that stood out was that they defend....it was very hard for the Jays to get open shots......if that same Hicksville team shows up, then I could see them winning!!!!!

Ya I never said that. I was making a case as to saying certain teams were better but never did I say Hicksville was no good. But nice try.

See thatís the problem. I donít think you can make a fair judgment on a player if you only seen him 3-4 times. Even a senior. I will say flounder part of what you said is true but like we both said heís a freshman. Heís a very nice player for a freshman. Good on both sides of the floor. The point I was trying to make was that the team is better when heís playing.
