Here is an analogy sounds like Mike Cramer is a lot more Jon Gurden.
Who is Jon Gurden?

Really? You think people on here have been misrepresenting Coach Cramer's coaching resume? And your "evidence" is that he is not in a team photo?

Your kid was probably one of the seniors Coach Cramer had to bench while at MSML to get the program back on its feet.

For Coach Cramer to say that he turned the Marion Local program around would be like Luke Fickel saying he turned the Buckeyes around before Urban Meyer got there.

It just isn't true.

I want to make one thing abundantly clear.....at no time has Coach Cramer ever said that he turned around any program. And he just went in with his eyes wide open and his sleeves rolled up and got to work. And I think we have said that he's not interested in another dumpster fire such as Shawnee. We have describe his coaching history accurately. Some may agree while others may disagree on the results. But what cannot be denied is his ability to look at a program from the outside in and make the necessary decisions that must be made. He is very well respected in coaching circles all around the state.

What a stupid analogy. Adam Sandler took over from Tressel following a successful, albeit corrupt, run. Coach Cramer took over a program that had been down and righted the ship. However, the tough decisions he had to make (benching seniors, changing culture, etc.) rubbed people the wrong way and he was shown the door. Goodwin took it from there. That is not to say he wouldn't have turned the program around without Coach Cramer but a lot of the "heavy lifting" was down for Tim.

Me thinks JC Superstar is a permanent fixture down south....without his voucher pipeline his chances for success go down dramatically. Even Shawnee would be hard-pressed to open their arms. Vic Whiting could resurface

Hadn't really kept up with Vic since he was able to leave DSJ after hush money was paid to a former student. I can't believe that that they allowed this predator to go somewhere else. The Catholic Church covered up a lot of this and the money they paid is regrettable

Couldn't agree more. The whole thing is cringe-worthy.

JC "Superstar" and DH "Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde" deserve each other. Hope it happens.
JC Superstar looks to be the next HC @ Zumherly Rd. As soon as they can get him re-certified to be in the company of high school students it will be a done deal......welcome back JC, Grove is happy to see you!

JC Superstar was spotted last evening at the Shawnee boys basketball game and later at one of the local dining establishments. Looks to be a done deal from all appearances and with just a few small details to be ironed out. An 0-10 season down in Tennessee will have an effect I guess. Either the recruiting coordinator needed to go, or just maybe JC has lost his edge.

The teaching job will be for his wife. He's retired already and could be a study hall monitor if they need one.
Just my opinion.
