BaseballFanatic, Dr. Lou, and xxLimaSportsxx, hope you were at the AE / L.C.C. game tonite. The Mustangs threw a soph and started 4 others. L.C.C. threw their main man. L.C.C. had two hits thru 5 and had a 2-0 lead. Allen East had 4 hits and left 6 runners stranded. Big, bad L.C.C. DID win the game but only on a couple sophomore mistakes, letting a couple pop ups fall safely. Your boy Snider was 0 for Thursday. Swaney 1 for 2 with a walk. Swaney cut down an attempted base stealer that had a two step head start off the soph. pitcher. A SEED! EVERYONE at the game witnessed who has the better arm, bat, and athleticism. Difference is, Swaney throws DOWN to second base, while Snider's throw still have a hump. Yes, you beat a team of sophomores to share a title, but anyone who left that game thinking Snider is a better catcher...needs tested. Dr. Lou, you should have witnessed the way he dealt on Spencerville, while your boy Dietering was 0 for Thursday and booted every ground ball hit to him at short. Give the kid some props. Allen East has three kids (Swaney, Hoy, & Anderson) who could play for anyone. And for my money, Swaney is the best "player" in the league.

Too bad AE is terrible haha. If he was so good and AE was so good than how come they didn't score any runs against LCC tonight. It's funny how AE fans always find a way to be optomistic when there just not that good!

If you were so smart, how come you can't spell. I was at the game and I would have to agree with Tyrone. BaseballFanatic, you are the reason Bluffton acted the way they did!!

was at the game and lcc played a good game but for ae throwing a sophomore it took them a long time to get rollin...agree with tyrone, swaney hoy and anderson can play on any team..anderson is one of those quiet names you dont hear about but if you watch him play he is very vocal on the field and is a good senior leader for the underclassman in the infield

A couple of things here..Having watched Snider all year and only seeing Swaney once this year, it is obvious that both are very good players and both are outstanding catchers. Having also seen Bogan this year, they are his equal defensively and if you believe statistics offensively as well. Swaney has a strong arm and threw out the only runner LCC sent to steal. Dont remember if Allen East even attempted a steal, so you cant really judge the two in some kind of one game who is better scenario. Really who cares, they are both good both teams are probably glad to have them and both will be honored for there great play. Hoy and Anderson are also very nice players and it is great to see Hoy doing so well after that serious injury.

LCC won the game 5-0, both teams played hard in very windy conditions and LCC gets to share the conference title after a fine season. Allen East finished over .500 I believe and will continue to get better. LCC started slowly after having not played or practiced much since to loss to Riverdale. The lefty pitcher for AE did a very nice job and if LCC actually did recruit....well maybe he will be sent one of those phantom letters everyone talks about.........Good Luck to the Birds and Mustangs this summer, Congrats to the Birds and Paulding on their league championships and congrats to Swaney and Snider for being outstanding players and leaders on their respective teams.
