We've started this new forum in the hopes that our members will find it useful to keep up on the college careers of the area's former athletes.......eventually I would like to see it be segmented where you could look up basketball and a roll call of high school stars going on to the next level would have their info provided.....
Something like this:
SPORT:
GRADUATED FROM:
YEAR GRADUATED:
LAST NAME FIRST:
OFFICIAL COLLEGE WEB SITE:
Categorize the sports into a group, example Football, all players from the area would be listed in alphabetical order by NAME and alphabetical order SCHOOL since not everybody can remember names, like me for instance. Volleyball, Cross Country, I think you get the idea. I bet a lot of people wonder what happened to Sunni Olding. Well, with this format people could be browsing and run acrossed her name and say, Wow, I forgot all about her and they could go to:
http://und.cstv.com/sports/c-xc/nd-c-xc-body.html and/or http://und.cstv.com/sports/c-xc/mtt/olding_sunni00.html
SPORT: Basketball
GRADUATED FROM: Ottoville High School
YEAR GRADUATED: 2006
Vorst, Josh --- http://www.unoh.edu/athletics/mens_basketball/index.shtml
I think you get the idea and I hope that it brings the RC another added feature that our members will enjoy ....this isn't going to be a place where you should be saying things like "I don't think he/she should have gotten a scholarship", or "there's no way they will be playing at that level, etc"......more of a positive forum where their accomplishments can be shared and talked about ..thanks zooom
