A 42yd td pass from Bertke to Goettemoeller opened scoring for Marion Local. Dropped off in flat, stop and go move, cut back to inside.

Minster answered right back. Kauffmann big kick off return. Schultz around left end for 31yd Td run. 7-7 after 1st quarter.

A Goettemoeller 7yd Td run to opened the 2nd quarter. Minster's ensuing drive stalled on downs just outside the red zone. Keller pounded it in from 1yd out. Big play of drive was 35yd pass play to freshman Wilker. Minster quickly down the field. Slant on 4th and 2 from the 6yd line from Niemeyer to wolf td, 21-14 at the Half.

2 3rd quarter picks resulted in marion td's. Goettemoeller jumped over from the 1, and bertke ran it in from 10 early in the 4th. Marion all runs after an early 3rd q pick. 44 yard wide receiver trick play pass from Poeppelman to Eilerman was Minster's answer.

A Minster goal line stand and 99yd drive tightened things up 35-27. On 4th and 1, Goettemoeller broke loose for 41yd TD with 2:01 remaining. A Kauffmann kick off return to the 30 set up a Wolf score with 45 seconds left. An unsuccessful on side kick and 2 knees ended it, Marion Local 41-34 over Minster.
