Congrats to the Shawnee Indians on their first District Championship since 1975. The Tribe rallied for for 2 in the 5th to tie it up at 3 and added 3 more in the 6th to take a 6-3 lead. Great Job Indians and good luck at regionals!!!!

Congrats to coach Spencer, especially after the so-called "controversy" not too long ago. Good to see that discipline/hard work mentality gets rewarded. He is a little old-school, but in my mind that's a good thing, not a bad. The next test will be very tough indeed, but don't discount Mr Kopilchak, Hefner, Strawn & crew in this next game. Good luck Indians!

Congrats, but it should be expected since most players are encouraged to play year round and not other sports...call me wrong, but I have seen it with my own eyes, if you don't believe me compare the number of football players on Shawnee's roster to the rest of the WBL

Two of their three 1st team WBL players are multi-sport athletes (Kyle Strawn, Cody Kopilchack).

Good Luck to the Indians as they venture to Tiffin University to begin play in the Regional Tournament. Get the bats crackin' early and everything will be just fine. thumbup1.gif

The Indians bow out to Walsh Jesuit 10-0. Indian bats were silent, Walsh Jesuit's were not. Simple.
Congrats on a Great Season. 25-6 will be something to remember.
