Publicity & to get people talking.
Minster is ahead of Ottovile also. Ottoville 3 losses hurt their rankings. Doesn't matter what you are ranked as long as you roll on in the playoffs. Ottoville will have to beat Arlington again to get to the regional, will be very tough. T do not think Wayne Trace will go far, but you just don't know.

Ottoville 3 losses were from 2 D2 schools and a D3. We are undefeated in D4. We are ranked lower then 2 teams we beat. Our losses shouldn't hurt because of the ranking and division of the teams we lost to. Congratulations seniors! Thanks for a great 4 years!!

Which is exactly why the rankings are a joke.

Never really understood why people get so worked up over rankings. They mean nothing.

BTW: score of interest: Arlington 66 Minster 32

Well see that's the problem we all know the rankings don't mean anything so why even have them?

But ya that score is interesting. Could have been a great game by Arlington or bad game by Minster or both. Sometimes games like those happen.

Ottoville will have to beat Leipsic again and Arlington, who hammered Minster the other night, no easy task to get to the regionals. Just like last year. They have 3 tough road games on their schedule (DSJ, L-B & Coldwater) before the tournament. As Flounder says, it is in the coaching.

Thanks for the great thoughtsFlounder, Coldwater 13-4, L-B 17-2. I know the Jays aren't real strong, but they are all away. I hope so, but all goes down to Leipsic and Arlington again.

Columbus Grove is hitting on all cylinders. Only loss is by one point to #1 ranked in DII Ottawa Glandorf. They play Bluffton tonight for NWC championship.

Didn't see you post the Liberty Benton score but I think Ottoville won 50-36 if that's right? If so, a good win on the road to end the regular season.
