If this is true then I guess he didnt get very far. I know of a certain player he kept pestering all winter (11/12) about if he was going to play sr year or go back to his other sport. the player informed Lee that he was giving another sport a chance....lees comment....."we'll you weren't very good anyway". To teach respect, you have to live it.

LCC's program was almost as pathetic when Coop took over. As long as Coop is ranting and raving on the sidelines, nothing will earn him respect in the minds of most LCC/Coop bashers on here.
Lima Senior has so much talent and athletic ability walking around the school. They should be the top team in Lima by far every year, but have probably been bottom 2 in Lima for the past 5 or 6 years. I don't know how to turn a program around that is in the state LSH currently is. The culture of both the football team and the school lacks work ethic, motivation, and positive attitude. (Side note: I know there are a number of people in the LSH community that do not fit this broad generalization - I do not mean that comment to reflect everyone in the LSH community). Hopefully, they can find someone who can help the team and kids to reach their full potential. Unfortunately, I think it will take more than just a change in the head football coach. Any coach that is truly going to turn this program is going to be incredibly unpopular at first, both with the players and, perhaps more detrimentally, with the parents.

This is a Lima Senior coaching thread. What does Coop have to do with this. It is clear that LCC is a great fit for Coach Cooper why does his name even come up on this thread
