Actually heard from a NW Ohio big high school sports fan who is also an ag salesman and gets to talk to a lot of people in NW Ohio. He said he heard a rumor that there might be an Etzler playing for St. Henry next year. Is there an Etzler parent living in St. Henry?

Heard that too. Man if Crestview is gonna do it, this has to be the year.

That was also a rumor last season (Etzler boys going to St. henry) Wowzer! Could you imagine how good St. Henry would be this season if that would have happened?

Patents are divorced & dad lives in St. Henry.

I have been hearing the "younger Etzler to St. Henry" rumor for a while myself but don't know what to make of it.

But his dad does live in St. Henry...

What about Crestview's coach, is he going to Van Wert as rumored? He had 7-8 seniors, and with the big Etzler transferring to St. Henry, maybe the cubbard could be bare coming up. Probably only rumors.

Does Van Wert have a coaching opening? The "Etzler to St. Henry" talk was also apparently rampant in Columbus.

I would be surprised if Best leaves Crestview for Van Wert....doesn’t make much sense unless a huge financial gain....knowing the Etzler family, I find it hard to believe Andy’s son would leave Crestview.....what is there to gain....Crestview has 2 state championships in last 5 years.....and Ray I’m sure might have something to say....I just don’t see either leaving Convoy Ohio....seems like a step down!!!!!

Now that Allen is out at Bath - who is next coach? It was rumored to be Dre White last time Bath thought Allen was out, but Ada has been underwhelming under in tenure.

I still don't see Best going to Van Wert.....the talent level at Van Wert hasn't been there for some time....although maybe he wants to move up to the higher ranks...who knows what motivates coaches to make decisions that they do....I just feel that Crestview is one of the premier sports schools in our area....we will see!!!!

I had heard the rumors a couple months ago that this would be Bests' last hurrah at Crestview. Does seem odd, especially with the younger Etzler (Top 50 player in the country for his recruiting class)....he & four warm bodies could still manage a district title.
