I saw on facebook a very cool story about the girls 3200 meter today at the girls state finals in Columbus. I have not found a newspaper article to link to this but will continue to look for one. Anyway Arden McMath of Arlington collasped just short of the finish line.Mehgan Vogel of West-Liberty Salem was behind Arden, but stopped, helped Arden up and assisted her across the finish line. The true word of :sportsmanship" Even though as the writer on facebook said, Mehgan came in last in this race, but is definitley a winner(Mehgan did win the 1600 meter though) Hats off to Mehgan
I tried to post a pic but from some reason I cannot get it to copy from FB. Maybe a poster from Arlington can give us a in person acount of this

Great show of sportsmanship!!! It's nice to see there are people still out there that aren't always thinking of themselves, the picture gave me chills the first time I saw it. Good for you Meghan!!

I'd be very disapointed if my kid didn't help her across the line. It's not like it was for first place. Hate to be the parents of the kids that ran past her, lol
