Results from the regional semi-finals:

Houndog 6-2
waterloowonder, 6-2
Dark Knight, 6-2

Stafford, 5-3

Maltese Falcon, 4-4
Hayen Fox50, 4-4

Teddy Malone, 4-3

Von, 3-5

Edgerton must be the real deal as they pounded Pandora-Gilboa 52-8. For the season Edgerton has outscored their opponents 616 to 74 through 12 games. Doing the math, that is over 50 points per game..

Grove lost a heart breaker in double overtime to Seneca East. Tough to lose like that, but Seneca East is pretty solid.

McComb beat Leipsic again, but it was a lot closer this time. So it is down to 1 team left in the BVC.

The GMC has 2 teams left in Edgerton and Fairview. I look for Edgerton to move on, but not Fairview.

The Mighty MAC is down to 2 teams - Coldwater and Marion Local as both teams advanced. The Flyers were too much for LCC and Coldwater avenged their loss to St. Henry. I think they can't win two games in the same year over Marion Local.

Two WBL teams advanced to the regional finals in St. Marys and Wapak. The Riders pounded Van Wert while Wapak ground out a tough win over Fenwick. I think both St. Marys and Wapak will have their hands full this weekend.

Crestview took out defending state Champion Minster 28-14. I thought the Knights were very physical and that proved to be correct. They now play Fort Loramie who lost only to Minster in the 1st game of the season.

I have listed 6 games and as you can see, the records are tremendous - 131 wins vs. only 13 losses. Fairview is the only team to crash to party as a #7 seed.

Division VII Region 28
#1 seed For Loramie (11-1) vs. #2 seed Crestview (11-1)

Division VII Region 26
#2 seed Edgerton (12-0) vs. #4 seed McComb 11-1)

Division VI Region 22
#1 seed Seneca East (11-1) vs. #7 seed Fairview (9-3)

Division VI Region 24
#1 seed Coldwater (10-2) vs. #3 seed Marion Local (11-1)

Division IV Region 14
#1 seed Clear Fork (12-0) vs. #2 seed St. Marys Memorial (11-1)

Division III Region 12
#1 seed Kettering Alter (11-1) vs. #2 seed Wapakoneta (11-1)

Crestview
I think both of these D7 games will be close, within a TD
Edgerton

Seneca East- whoever wins this will just be the lambs being led to the slaughter because the winner plays (see below)

Marion Local- It would be hard to pick Coldwater to win this rematch, but this is the de facto state championship game

Small detail, but McComb is actually a 5 seed and played on the road at Patrick Henry in the regional quarterfinals.

I think you are referring to my statement "#7 Fairview is the only party crasher". I don't consider the 4-5 games as upsets. They are usually so close and a high percentage of those games are won by the lower seed.

I'm a little late but haven't heard any scores yet.
Fort Loramie - don't know why, I think it could go either way.
Edgerton - Edgerton is way better than I thought.
Seneca East - Fairview has had a nice run but 3-loss GMC teams generally don't get this far.
Marion Local - I noticed that it seemed like every playoff rematch was going the way of the regular season loser.
St. Marys - for some reason I feel like this is the biggest mismatch.
Wapak - Redskins have been winning close games the last 3 weeks.
