When a team is going to invest millions of dollars into an athlete, they have every right to know everything there is to know about that person and his family and friends. Is your mother a prostitute? You would not ask that question if there was not reason to believe she was. Colt McCoy likely was not asked that queston and neither was Nad Suh for those of you who want to raise race as a consideration. His mother has been in prison for drug dealing and other offenses. Could she be swayed by bookies? Could she have influence of young Dez? Could she be part of a criminal organization? Could they influence young Dez? OMG his feelings were hurt and he was mad? Please, he was looking for media attention.
Of course these aren't the kind of questions that young executives are asked before being hired at Fortune 500 companies yet I have heard the comparison. Are you serious!
