Tim has currently only run one race of each hurdles, but won both @ the columbus grove invitational. 15.1 in the 110 hurdles and 41.7 in the 300's. Those are pretty good opening times for his season given he wasnt allowed to run for 5 months. He is looking pretty good right now and will drop the times as he races em more. It has been a long rehab road for him since ACL sugery, but he is on track to being back at State this season.

Blake Truex in the Mile.
DEF Jacob and Blake!
Blake is outstanding in the mile and when he gets around better people he will pace himself better.
Jacob paces himself then kicks it in and speeds right passed everyone.
As of right Now Ej Laing is ranked 7th in Discus in Division 3 so very much potential for state

Great to hear about Blake & Jacob.....Have been wondering the last few weeks about Jacob & how he was doing.....He's a great all 'round runner....Does he still do any distance runs/x-country? And, as always, best wishes to EJ too!

On the boys side, the 4X4 is looking to move on and they're hungry to break the school record of 3:23. The 4X2 and 4X8 will need to pick it up to make the trip to C-Bus.

The boys 4X8 squeaked in at 4th place with an 8:14. They'll be looking to knock that time down at C-Bus.

Butler is already in top form this early in the season. He just won the state indoor title last Saturday setting a new meet record in the 800 meter at the University of Akron. He'll be the favorite again this year to win the state outdoor title in the 800.

Also from Bluffton is Lydia Guagenti in the HJ (5'06" already this year), 400 (59), and 4x2 and 4x4 relays with Sarah Stratton, Lindsay Bassitt, and Hannah Chappell-Dick. The girls will have to really step it up this year after losing their star sprinter, Bonnie, however.

At 23.2 Salyer will be lucky to place at the district meet, let alone go to the state meet. I like the kid, but last year D-III boys runners had to be under 22.3 to get to the finals in the state meet; he's a strong runner, but I doubt he has the 'raw speed' you need to place much higher than the NWCC conference meet.
The WG boys have been very competitive so far, but they haven't really been tested yet (but did rack-up 195 points in the lack-luster Orange Division of the Versailles Invitational) - we'll see how they fare at the WG invite on April 23 and the Cardinal Relays on May 1.
The WG girls should be strong all the way to state with strong relays (the 4x200 was a regional qualifier last year with all runners returning) and strong field events (Morgan Horn - PV, LJ, HJ; Abbey Gray - LJ; Ivy Horn - HJ, LJ; Brooke Shaw - throws) and sprints (Ivy Horn - 100, 200, 100 H and Abbey Gray 100, 200, 300 H). Each of the girls listed has the potential to place in the state meet ... we'll see what happens over the next 8 weeks ... good luck to the Tigers!
