Just finished up watching the Miami Heat welcome their 3 Me-egos on ESPN. I really didn't expect to see anything quite that disgusting ........... Lebron talked of winning 7 championships but by my numbers he hasn't even won his first one yet. He also made the foolish statement that after playing against Bosh and Wade in practice that the games will be easy....... All these years I thought Lebron might be that one superstar athlete that could kept his head squarely on his shoulders........ What the hell was I thinking? .............. Oh my, this certainly looks like it has all the makings of a complete disaster........ Maybe thses 3 fellas can find some Cubans to help them make up their 12 man team because I honestly can see many right thinking people from this country that would want to play with 3 guys with heads swelled up bigger than Morganna (The Kissing Bandit's) boobs.

They will struggle to win a title. Not as cut and dry as what they think.

Liked the ESPN analysis of a Lakers - Heat matchup. LA has the bigs, Kobe on Wade, Artest to chase LeBron.

Exactly! This guy was a god in Ohio and basketball right where he needed it, I wouldn't have been near as bitter if he went to Chicago, because you can make the argument that they are a better TEAM....Problem is, I loved LeBron and liked DWade, but now, I don't think I can root for either of them......

I think some peoples views are crazy..I sure rather live in south beach rather then cleveland. i sure rather play with wade and bosh. Its not like money determines everything. How "loyal" are his fans who burn his jersey? the "loyalty" factor everyone talks about is disgusting..I honestly cant believe how selfish people are..he served his time here..he tried..and his boss didnt give him anyone to play with and he was sick of it..i wish people could look at things the right way..The clevelanders say he grew up their and was loyal to that town,,they act like they owned him. I would think the people who watched him grow up would want to see him be succesful in winning championships and not just games for a selfish town which now betrays him because things didint happen like they wanted..besides..if they win rings or not..you must say they would be fun to watch!

And he never will be in the same class as Michael, Larry, Magic, Kobe and Tim Duncan. The King and Brett have a new fan club. It's called "It's all about me and how much attention can I get club".

The so called King knew where he was going all along. That's why the Cav fans are upset. Would not go to Chicago. Could not handle the Jordan ghost.

Fun to watch? Only one market really cares. sleep.gif

Tim Duncan.......are you kidding me...Tim Duncan...sheeeeeesh...you can't even mention him in the same breath as Bird, Magic, and Kobe.......and please, let us not forget about Jordan's alter ego and skeletons in the closet.......And Brett isn't even close to Lebron!!!!!!!!!!!

I will say the only thing about Duncan is he is a little underrated and he has won championships, but he is a step below the Birds, the Magics, and Jordan

Not a Cavs fan so never loved the guy. People forget his junior year in HS his AAU team walked off the court after they got beat. Never shook hands with the team that beat them and did not accept their 2nd place medals.
Sound familiar?

I am a long time Bulls fan who watched Jordan get beat up by the Pistons and took 6 years before he won his first ring. Stars? He had mamy role players that he made better. His centers were a aged Bill Cartwright and then Luke Longely. Yes he did have Horace Grant, Scottie Pippen and Tony Kukocs. He also lost Horace Grant, took on Dennis Rodman who no one wanted and won 3 more rings. His guards were BJ Armstrong, John Paxon and Steve Kerr. I can name more but Pippen is the only one who will be in the Hall Of Fame and I am not sure he truly belongs. But MJ would have not won 6 rings without him. Jordan demanded his teamates to play hard and was respected for it.

The real stars make players around them better. The King has not shown this. Easier for him to go and play with other stars. We shall see how many rings he wins. I do not hate the guy but I have zero respect for how he handled the entire situation.

Agree. Never thought he would be as good as he wound up being though.

Everyone's giving Lebron a hard time for leaving, yet the same people give Kobe a pass for all the complaining he did just 2 years ago. Remember, he was almost a Bull. And at the time he had basically won 0 titles, because Shaq was by far the most important member of those first 3 Laker teams.

Obviously things worked out just fine for Kobe. But it's not like he never considered leaving. When a star isn't given the pieces they need to win, they need to leave. I love Michael Jordan and I've always been a Bull fan. But anyone who honestly thinks they get anywhere close to 6 titles without the supporting cast he had around him is stupid. They may win 1, maybe 2, but that's about it. Lebron didn't get the help he needed, so he left. So what. Life goes on.

For the record LeBron had every right to pack his bags and move to where he feels is his best chance at winning. I am not a Cavs fan, but I have followed Lebron's career since his high school days. Therefore I became a fan of a young man who played his high school ball is the great state of Ohio. I have interest in any player that is an Ohio high school grad and is fortunate enough to move up to higher levels. My problem with all of this is the way Lebron went about his move. There's a right way and a wrong way and in my opinion his way left much to be desired. I guess all this time I thought he was better than that. Maybe this is all him or maybe it's his handlers who themselves are very young and are still learning on the job..........
It's always been my thought that LeBron has a burning desire inside himself to be the best that's ever lived. At times he's shown that fire in his belly that Jordan brought every play off game. To be the best he needs to win championship(s) ....... And lets be honest here, in Cleveland that wasn't going to happen. It had to be a tough decision for him between the Cavs, Miami and Chicago. It was his choice and he's the one that has to know. But if it were me I would have went to the Bulls. In Miami the King will share the spotlight, but it Chicago it looked like they had all the pieces to the puzzle put right in place for him to walk in and continue on as the King of the court every single night. Boozer and Rose would have been perfect compliments to the King James game. Oh well, stayed tuned for the NBA next season as David Stern must be loving all of this.

Stern is a joke. He is now ripping Lebron for the TV thing. He had every opportunity to say no to it, but of course he did not so his league gets all the publicity.

Lie, lie, lie.
Little Dru Joyce headed to the lockerroom and LeBron ran over to get him and bring him back before he got 10 feet off the floor. LBJ was the 1st player to shake hands with Roger Bacon and he brought all of his teammates along with him to do the same. I thought LeBron handled himself EXTREMELY well that day. I'll never forget it. Total class.

LeBron is the best or 2nd best player in the NBA right now and will ultimately win titles with the Heat. May or may not be this year although I'm starting to come around that they will win it right out of the gate. I'm with ya on how he handled it. Stupid

Too many egos on one team eventually will cause issues.

The lie lie thing was what I was told by many people who were at that game. ???? All I know people were upset and still to this day people bring it up. And he did walk off the floor when he was beat in the finals. He has the most talent but is not the best player. Takes more then talent to win titles. We shall see.

Enough about Lebron. Go BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! biggrin.gif Rose will be the next Wade.

I know he walked off the floor following the loss vs Orlando and that was the wrong thing to do. Looked terrible. To me, Miami will get along just fine due to the fact that Wade/Bosh know LeBron so well and they do not seem like ego driven guys. (Course, who isn't deep down?)

I watched LBJ & SVSM more than 20 times and I was at the Oak Hill loss his soph yr, all 8 state appearances, etc...whoever said that he walked off the floor without shaking hands is lying to you. In fact he almost stayed out there too long in my opinion. If I remember right he was even getting pictures with RB players and cheerleaders after the game and signing autographs.

Thats what I thought I remembered, but I was thinking maybe I was mistaken on who it was....As pissed as I am about him leaving, for the most part, LeBron is a class act...Now the TV thing, now that was a joke!
