I know this is old news, but has not been discussed on this forum. John Zerbe was and is a class act. Hate to see him get out of coaching. Stayed the course when he was 0-20 and finished with some amazing seasons. Will Jim Morris take over? He would be excellent choice if he wants it.

Hopefully the Spencerville AD will look at Mike Cramer as an option.

Not surprised. Talent was already there when Chris took over now he has to rebuild and not sure he could do that. This will be the second
time he has left DJ for greener pastures.

Good for Spencerville, too bad for DJ.

Is this a head scratcher for anyone else? In conference to a school that may have less talent? Obviously he needs to do what feels best for himself and his family I just don't get it maybe someone can explain.

In the past 9 months the basketball coach, the principal, and now the football coach left. This is the second one to Spencerville.

Not really. His wife works at spencerville and the incoming classes appear to have more talent. I'm not that surprised. I wish him the best at Spencerville.

I have no problem with him switching schools to coach football but don't say you are doing it to spend more time with your family. How will that move help spend more time with
his family if he still lives in Delphos and teaches and coaches in Spencerville?.

Jeffcat, would you want Schulte to go to DJ? I don't know coach Schulte but being from same town, would he even be interested?

I'd like to see him coach at DJ, but I highly doubt he's interested, especially with some of the dropoff in talent and the social discrepancies within town..

His wife works in the building he will be teaching in and that his kids are going to school in.
Don't find fault, find a remedy.

The bottom line is there is more talent coming at Spencerville than DSJ. It would be hard to maintain level of success at Jefferson.
