You get enough people and I am in for a Fantasy Baseball League. I could certainly use one where there are more than 3 managers left by the end of the season.

Can anyone explain to me what a fantasy league is, and how it operates???? I'm really not into baseball at all, but it would be nice to have a general knowledge of how a fantasy team works (I have my own version that I'm sure doesn't apply whistling.gif ).....and, just maybe, I'd do it for fun and kick all your butts!!???!!! boxing.gif I do know bsball, somewhat, so I don't need you to explain that part, just the fantasy game part.....Who would have ever thought that???? LOL

Geez...ya' bum...Look it up smile.gif

But anyway, what happens is you take the stats your "starters" accumulate and compile them together. If there are 12 ppl in a league, the person w/ the most homeruns from their team gets 12 points, next most homeruns gets 11 poinst and so on. Lowest ERA and WHIP (Walks and Hits divided by Innings Pitched) would get 12 points, 2nd lowest gets 11, etc. Whoever has the most points is the winner of the league. A general league requires you to have a person at each fielder position, and you get a "utility" player to start as well. Your pitching staff has starting pitchers, relief pitchers, and "general" pitchers. Both starting and relief pitchers can be considered in the general category to fill them up.

That's a rough go of it.
