If you were a head coach of your basketball program what defense would you use the most and why? Would you switch defense's all game or have the same defense all game..

Man to man, but would change up with various zones when needed.....some zones will make a team play lazy, but a zone can also give a team a needed break if they are gassed!!!!!

Defense in based on the team you play, so you can't just say what you would do if coaching a team.

Man your a jerk. It was a simple question. Your always negative.

Dumb topic, just being honest

Dumb topic? No a dumb topic is ranking teams in all divisions. Now that’s a dumb pointless topic.
No object is mysterious. The mystery is your eye.

I have been watching a few hs games lately and most coaches will change up defenses in a heartbeat, but I will say that some are very bull headed and stick to their favorite!!!!!

A good defensive team will never pick their defense based on their opponent. The best defenses will dictate what the offense has to try to do...not the other way around. Teams that can play man to man force will play man to man until the offense finds a way to beat it. The only teams that come out and start in a zone are the teams that are basically saying "hey, we're not very good defensively so here's a zone". Teams that are good in man to man will sometimes go to zone for awhile if they have to change up the guys on the court and maybe have weaker defensive guys in....but as soon as they get a chance they'll go back to man to man

Sorry charlie not wasting time on you after seeing your rankings

Hmmm....give you a big fat chance to share your "knowledge" with us and you bail. Exactly what I expected. Is answering with something that requires more than a full sentence too tough for you :shrug2: ...or is it the fact that you have absolutely no idea what to say?? I'm sure all of us would love to hear your thoughts....it's obvious that none of us will ever know as much about basketball as you...I mean it's a well known fact that former TV station workers all end up being Hall of Fame coaches right?? Put up or shut up time Prince... :pickles: let's hear it

Oh, and no, I'm not gonna meet you in some alley for a fight.... :wallbash:
