No they just aren't that great.....losing Lautzenhieser was huge.
Crestview also playing without one of their better players who was hurt earlier in the week. But no doubt Crestview misses Lautzenhieser. Jefferson lost Smith too. That is the reality of the conference this year. These weren't just good players. These were players among the best the conference has ever seen. Top 10 type players. There was no chance there was not going to be step-backs. Paulding, Spencerville, Bluffton, Ada, all lost very good players too.
This is what Crestview looks like when they "just aren't that great." They still compete for the conference championship.

Spencerville is tops in the NWC........come tourney time, the NWC will be early outs......Kicking LCC out of this conference will hurt it in the long run.....good competition only helps make a conference better!!!!!!!!!!!

Flounder---there were basically 2 teams who could compete with LCC....in basketball...Crestview and Spencerville.

This year LCC would be middle of the pack or lower.

Exactly.....losing LCC will hurt this conference in the long run.......LCC cannot dominate every year.....period!!!!!
Just depends who is coaching at Lima Senior. Or put in another way, who wins the recruiting wars between the two Lima's.

Spencer Miller carried Allen East on his back last night against Ada.

Just a kid who is quietly getting his name in the Allen East record books.
