LIberty Benton tore up Otsego 13-0 so at this point Liberty Benton moves to 9-0.... jawdrop.gif

Rocket, even as much as I know you don't care for Liberty Benton since they are the primo recruiting school in the state but give my girls some props on the soccer scene now because it looks as though they may be one of the best D2 schools in NW Ohio and might be able to put OG away this year if the soccer Gods allow once tournament time comes...

war gimme some respect!!! LOL

Graceunderfire,
Let me get this straight.........you're saying that LB recruits whistling.gif ........jeez, now that's something new!.....and I've never said that I don't care for LB that I can remember......I might have thought it after a few butt-whippins' administered over the past few years in both football and basketball, but honesty have nothing against the fine citizens of Benton Ridge.......now on to soccer.........LB is still a ways off from competing against the likes of OG, Shawnee, and Elida of the WBL........beating Otsego, HL, and PG doesn't get it..........I'm thinking Conti, Archbold, Bryan, and OG will be anxiously awaiting LB's arrival..........zooooom

Rocket,

I agree but yet disagree......We scrimmaged Archibold and won, scrimmaged Bluffton (7-0)and dominated and for Elida they beat a descent Riverdale team 6-5 but we totally dominated the Riverdale team and won 7-1 in which the game was 6-0 by half and the JV's pretty much played the second half. I really think you need to come watch LB and give me your real opinion instead of schedule toughness and weakness......By the way LB has scored 68 goals as of last nite to only allowing 4 goals and 2 of them were given up by our JV's.....On a side not I don't claim to be a soccer guru but comparing last years LB team to this year seems to be nite and day.....Thanks for your opinions Rocket!!!! Keep up the good work................

Grace as a Continental fan I feel your pain. Everyone says that you play a weak schedule, but it is hard to change that, we can't even get OG on ours and they are only 15 miles away. Do you think maybe Akron Hoban or Columbus Bexley would play us? All you can do is beat everyone on your schedule and let things shake out in the post season. Even when we did that last year and lost 1-0 in the regionals to a school 4 times our size the idiot on JJ still made fun of us. Also when you are a new program like us this is our 5th year and your 4th you feel like you need to pick up the new teams in the area like Cory Rawson so that we can get to 3 divisions.

Grace and people, don't worry if people are saying your schedule is weak. The girls are out there playing and proving themselves. It seems that whenever a team posts a number of wins, someone is going to say that. It happens in all types of sports and at all levels. I'm sure anyone who reads these posts and puts their input into them knows that.

Continued luck on your season.

Clover & myturn,

Thanks for the positive feedback and comments.....What really needs to happen isi for at least one team in NW Ohio make it to state to show the advancement that NW Ohio girls soccer and that they really are on the upswing and not light years behind like some people will comment. One comment I would like to make about the LB program is that most of the girls have been playing soccer since they were pretty much in diapers and as my girl she played primarily on boys teams except for one year.....Hey I just thought of something I will call all the girls diaper dandies, on second thought no I better not I will leave that to Dick Vitale!!!! LOL Hopefully like you said clover there will be enough teams added this next year to bring on 3 divisions....

War Grace is all I need....................Thank God!
