I think things will pick up here at least a little bit once football starts, but message boards appear to be a dying breed. I don't know if Twitter and other social media have anything to do with it, but that's too bad. Yappi looks like the only place with any decent traffic but there's almost nothing there to discuss if you aren't knowledgeable about the Cincy, Columbus, and Cleveland areas.

It's a shame. I was still on the huddle with the same username I have here. Registered there in March 2002.
This forum has slowed from what it was when Ober directed me here years ago.
Chat forums under assumed usernames are indeed a dying breed.
A few abandoned huddlers may show up here.
I will not be moving on to yappi, not enough nwoal/ northwest Ohio talk for me to bother.

The decision on starting RocketCorner came at a time when the Huddle was undergoing a radical change. Many former members were given the boot and we took it upon ourselves to start up the RC. In our prime we were about 25% of the Huddle in traffic counts and 90% in NW Ohio. Things have changed dramatically but now that JJ has slid down his fire pole for the last time, I'd love to welcome him over here. And Alwaysafan (he of 2,345,548 posts 👌) is also welcomed. Zooooom
