Alas, we are finished. Four years in a row, we do not make it past Ottoville in the District Semi-Final game. So, here are is the final four year tally:

Kalida: 53-08-10 (Half of our losses in the Tourney to Ottoville). Season losses: Shawnee (twice), Ottoville, and Bluffton

Ottoville: 56-16-04

In conclusion, Coach Eric Gerker has figured us out. He knows our ways, we are putty in his hands.

Losing in spot kicks is a terrible way to go, the joys of tourney soccer. Kalida didn't quite do enough to win and they had their chances. Ottoville did enough not to lose and converted their only chance to equalize. Ottoville maintained composure from the spot to advance.

DISSENT: Might want to correct yourself. Wasn't the district finals where Kalida lost each time.

I guess it is Ottoville & Fort Jennings. Why didn't they consolidate 5-7 years ago? What a power house in may sports they could have been. Even Football. Oh Well.... They could be in the MAC or NWC

You mean Ottoville didn't score on a throw in ?

Sorry for the sarcasm but so many doubters all year. Tournament is what counts. What a Great second half for the Big Green ! Tough for either team to lose in a shoot out, but the better team won.

I mean, Ottoville didn't luck out 4 years in a row did they dkusma ?
