OG won 2-0....it could have been worse. OG had a bunch of shots, but just couldn't get any more into the net. Temple was outmanned as they probably only subbed 2 or 3 guys the entire game and were worn out by the end.

Temple deffinately got outplayed. They played everything in the air and nothing to feet. No control and no passes put together. Would have been a good game if they would have showed up to play as the did against knox. Not sure OG was the better team but they were today.

Yes I agree about the subs but outshot by a bunch? The Lima News article had this..."O-G outshot the Pioneers, 7-6." Each keeper had 5 saves as well... And it could of been a lot closer or even a totally different outcome if the 2 obvious fouls in the box were called. Watch TV 44 highlights...Link going for a header and gets tackled by the defender. (Probably one of those "clean, knock them on their butts" comments their sweeper made?)

typical temple fan, just accept the fact you lost, not blame it on fouls that should've happened. They weren't obvious if they weren't called, simple as that.

Theodore...if the official doesn't blow the whistle, it's not a foul. Just because the folks in the stands feel it was, doesn't make it a foul. Temple got away with just as much as OG....especially toward the end when they started to tire. One of the Temple defenders could easily have had 2 yellows, but the official just called 2 fouls and gave him a stern "talking to" both times....don't understand the thought process behind that, especially after OG got a yellow on a very questionable call earlier. Either way, unfortunately this is what soccer has turned into....officials don't make calls, games gets a little chippy at times and nobody's happy. I don't think you can blame the players....just as in any other sport, you've got to take what you can get or you'll get passed up by some team who is willing to do just that. I don't think it's right, and it makes for some ugly games, but what choice do we have?

I agree I was at the game and did not seen no foul that shoulda been called....i thought the officiating was pretty good if u ask me..What Temple fans have to realize is that all Putnam County Schools (including OG because they are in the county) play a physical type of game...Temple over the years has struggled to play up to that level and when they get knocked off the ball they feel there should be a call...Temple is a good team with their passing and desired runs without the ball but when they go up against a putnam county team like OG or any other PC teams...more than likely they may struggle and it has showed the last two years in tournament...instead of blaming those "two fouls" that shoulda been called in the box, how about looking at Temples first shot of the game like 2-3 minutes into the first half when a player on the right side of the 18 had a nice pass and was just him and the keeper but shanked the ball toward the left???! not sure if anyone remembers that but i do and those are ones that u have to make it tournament, the officials are not gonna determine the game by penalty kicks unless the foul is worth deserving....congrats to OG tho i thought they played another good defensive game

So what your saying is just make sure the ref isn't watching and punch a player from the other team in the face. I mean its not a foul if it isn't called right?
