This rematch of 2 top ten teams will be a good one. LB won earlier in the season by double digits but think the Titans have improved a great deal. This game could be a great one. OG fans will be out in full force and probably outumber the LB fans. Anyone have the teams "like" opponents scores? Gotta go with the Eagles in a close one.

The first game, back in mid December, the Eagles beat the lady titans by 20. I would expect this one to be closer as the first meeting was a 2 point game at half at LB and the Eagles outscored the lady titans 34-16 in the second half. I am with NDlover and feel this will be a much closer game, but will take OG to advance.

Always hate to play a team twice in a season. Especially when the second game is in the tourney. No prediction, other than a close game.

Sounds like someone isn't trying to jinx anything ;-)

While doing prep and reading the stats for these teams I can't wait to call it. Rachel Myers is something special, BG is getting a good one (understatement of the year) next season.

Bluetiger, Did LB lose their starting center due to a knee injury?

Thought I read one of their starters tore a acl right before the season started.

Yep...Simon. Irwin is a heck of a coach. Rarely he gets outcoached. Good luck lady eagles.

Congrats to the lb lady eagles for beating OG 72 to 58. Katie Simon tore her acl and was out for season but wasn't post. Team win tonight for the eagles

Great run by OG this season.

LB got on a 12-0 run and made it hard for OG to overcome, congrats to the Eagles on advancing and good luck at ONU on Tuesday night.

LB and OG should be very proud of their teams and the basketball traditions they have. It was great to see these two state ranked teams play twice this year. It is unfortunate though that sometimes fans forget these are young girls playing. A fan crosses the line though when he tells the players from the opposing team they have no class after the game, then tells the coach, in front of his players, he has no class. It's a shame one person, from one of the most successful basketball program schools in NW Ohio, can make such a comment. Every school has fans who are passionate for their team, but let the kids enjoy the happiness that comes from a win and deal with the pain from a loss.

Very well said. I went to one O-G game and some of her fans were very classless. What an embarrassment to the town.

Now now Bluffton Pirate, that comment was made to the referee to let the girls play and not call the foul. I also said every team has fans that can act up.
