that would be correct. After eight pretty decent years, she has resigned. Her reasoning I was informed is because she is expecting twins in the middle of the season. Best of luck to the lady cougs as they search for a new leader.

Coach krites did a good job while at VW.
Wish her the best of luck...I bet their asst takes over the job.
Maybe she will continue doing NW Ohio club....
There's been a good turnover of coaches lately in the WBL...Elida, Shawnee, VW to name a few.

Judy Krites did a descent job with the VW program, and she remains a highly respected teacher. I wish her and her husband well with the new additions to their family on the way. Rumor has it that their are some internal candidates who may apply, but that there will be a state wide search conducted as well. As always, a board of education has to be concerned about the possibility of bringing in a new coach who will also be a teacher if there is a vacancy.

She has stepped down from her position for the NW Club too.
Coaching searches are conducted the same for any other sport (it's not rumor) it is posted on the school site and will be publicized throughout the state by way of various media outlets. I've looked into it and there will be several teaching vacancies at VWHS this coiming year with numerous retirements and several teachers leaving to attain higher degrees. So from a board point of view it might be best to higher an outsider..... Although,I too have heard that there is an internal want for the position, but i feel that one applicant is better apt for the position than the other, and SHE has college level experience.

A history along with the possibilty of several english positions...depends on if they want to retire or not. They've been speaking of it, but I guess we'll just have to see what happens!

Ainsworth is a VW graduate who went on to play at the berg.
She was the freshman coach last year, and teaches in the middle school.
