To answer the question. He is leaving to Coach Findlay HS girl's team. he is a Findlay grad, and has always wanted to Coach there, so when it came open he applied.

Have they hired anyone, or is it still open yet?
No matter who gets the job, those girls are go getters and should make whoever gets it look good.

It doesnt make much difference but I have been hearing that Findlay recruited him to be their new coach.

What...somebody "recruited" AWAY from Liberty-Benton??...isn't it usually the other way around?

so what if they approached him, he would have applied anyway. Again, He has always wanted to go back and get a chance to coach either boys or girls soccer at Findlay. So tomatoe, tomato. I wish him the best of luck. It isn't always possible for nonteachers to get a chance to coach where they want to.
Falcon that is funny! have to admit.
And I have heard a name, and there is talk. Haven't got the YES he is yet though, at least that I am aware of.

As far as Findlay goes, the TRAC will be a better league for FHS. FHS didn't even bother playing their varsity team against league opponents the last few years. Looking at the TRAC opponents, FHS should be competitive in the league.
The new league featuring Riverdale, VB, LB and others should be a interesting one. Any thoughts on who the frontrunner is in 2011 to be the inaugural champion?

Girls had their first game with the new coach last night, so he actually had his first day of being able to coach them. The girls seem to find him very respectful, and approachable. He had a couple of offensive and defensive scheme changes, that will be good to see how the girls adjust to. It looks like it will free them up more, and allow more open runs on goal, instead of controlled mythical approach down the field.
Have their second game Wed. at kalida.
