Here is what happened for the WBL schools. The first number is the enrollment for this past period. The 2nd number is the new enrollment number. The 3rd number is the projected division in football. Remember there will be 7 divisions this coming season and the division assignments could be affected by the pending competitive balance proposal
Bath--216--331--3
Celina--328--339--3
Defiance--318--334--3
Elida--316--427--3
Kenton--226--285--4
Ottawa-Glandorf--208--214--5
Shawnee--289-387--3
St. Marys--285-293--3
Van Wert--233--270--4
Wapakoneta--359--442--2
Some observations: Huge gains by Bath, Elida, Shawnee, and Wapak. OG by far the smallest school in the WBL now. If Lima Sr. was in the WBL they would be only the 3rd largest school.
Just some other observations on NW Ohio:
It was thought that Fostoria would continue to shrink but their boys enrollment increased from 206 to 266.
Always thought of Tontogany Otsego as a smaller rural school but their boys enrollment increased from 216 to 368.
Much has been made about Holgate just not being a big enough school to sustain a football program but their new number is identical to that of Leipsic(76).
Feel free to add any of your own observations or comments.

Unless all of the open enrollees choose to enroll after October of each school year, they would always be included in the official ODE-EMIS counts.

You think they would have it documented somewhere or would say to themselves, "didn't we screw this up last time?"

I wouldn't put the blame on the schools unless they are reporting them wrong on purpose which 99.9% of the time isn't the case. Someone's job is worth fudging the numbers for sports. They know how to report the numbers to the ODE. I know for a fact that many schools (one of them mentioned above) are appealing the numbers found on the OHSAA website.
