Ottoville has a very difficult schedule. But you are correct, that does help come tournament time (if they can survive with confidence). Grove's schedule not quite as difficult, but they also play in two leagues. I believe they also play Arlington and Liberty-Benton. Good luck to both teams as we move on into the heart of the season.

Lost to D-3 Col. Grove, Lima Bath (D-2) next. Still got more tough games: Minster, Elida, Leipsic, DSJ, Lib-Bent., & Coldwater plus some PCL games. Must have one of the toughest schedules in NWO. Hopefully it will help them in the playoffs. Go Green....

DSJ is not a tough game right now. Jays are very young and very small. No one taller than 5'8 in the program.

I didn't know Ottoville was one of the programs with numbers problems. There seems to be more of that every year.

Not many schools are immune to the numbers problem......I think Ottoville had a total of 15 girls out for BB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tough loss for the Green. Heard Landin had a 3 go in just late that would've tied it

Ottoville plays Minster on Jan 21. Plus they play Elida, DSJ, DJ, 4 league games, then on Feb. 16 Coldwater & Feb. 18 Liberty-Benton. Should be interesting, hopefully this will prepare them for Arlington again in the Ottawa District.

Big game Saturday: #1 Minster at #9 Ottoville. Should be a sellout, on Celina radio station, around 2:00. I will be listening. Go Big Green....

I really wish they didn't do rankings in high school. I mean how is Arlington ahead of Ottoville when they lost head to head and how is Wayne trace 1 spot below Ottoville who Ottoville destroyed earlier in the season. We always say the rankings don't mean anything or at least I keep saying that so why even have them? Especially when these voters don't even see most of these teams play. Because that's my only guess as to why they are what they are.

Ottoville defeats # 1 Minster 49-46, almost gave it away at the end. Seven games left, 6 on road. Play tough Liberty-Benton, DJ, DSJ. FJ, L, Elida, & Coldwater.
