It is time for Pittsburgh to say good bye to Ben. He will never change, there are people in Findlay who think he is a waste of time. This is twice he has gotten off. So will he change probably not. The Rooney's will not stand for any more. I bet they look to trade him or release him.

They will be entertaining offers for him, but I don't see them releasing him. Fame went to his head and it shows. He looks like some drugged-out douchebag WWE low-grade wrestler who is brought in to get beaten down by the headliners on a weekly basis. It is sad, really. He came into the league so well thought of and he has completely thrown his image away. A pity.

He has always been that way, thinking he is above everyone else. One day he will get his punishment. The Rooneys will not stand for anymore, he will be gone if it happens again.

Well, hopefully he will be in jail if he does it again, playing for Burt Reynolds Mean Machine team. I'm sure they won't trade him yet as he is a two time Superbowl winner. No doubt that any other player doing these things would have been traded or released by now.

Nobody is going to pay a top 10 pick for him. Then again, that is Pittsburgh's intention - hold him out there for offers and then say "Well, we didn't get anything that would be worth it." Basically just to say "Look Ben, the NFL is sick of your games, and so are we. If someone out there wants to be a part of your joke, they sure aren't showing it!"

Curious about the suspension, however, is that in the 6 games he is suspended, the Steelers only play ONE playoff team from last season - Ravens. In the remaining 10 games, I believe they play 6. So, really, Pittsburgh is getting off pretty easy. Further, they just acquired Byron Leftwich to come in and run the offense (again), so it isn't like they are throwing a chump in there who has no clue about the offense. I think the Steelers are getting off pretty easy in terms of the schedule and the suspension. Want a truly fair suspension? Suspend him for the six DIVISIONAL games. Ravens, Bengals, Browns, twice during the season - sorry Ben, your team takes the extra hit because you have become a shameless thug.

I think he's a shameless thug too..... unless they trade him to the Browns. Then I think everybody deserves a second chance.

I agree that Big Ben is nothing but a Big Thug!!! Why does somebody in his position, have to force women to have sex with him? If he is "all that", like he portrays when he visits Findlay, he should have women falling all over him. Everyone knows that pro athletes get "attention" everywhere they go, but most are smart about it and don't wind up on the front page. Steelers, cut your loses and save your name !!

I'll go ahead and say what you all are really thinking...

Since he's White, he gets the book thrown at him. If he were Black it would be just another night at the bar.
That's just the Reality of it...

Hate the crime not the criminal.
Ben is a joke. He had it going for him. He is throwing it away.
He can save it, Time can heal wounds. My worry is, he doesn't have that kind of time.
He has had to face more temptations than most of us will ever hear about.. That is no excuse.
When he came out, the people in the Findlay community were proud of him and felt he would be a great role model for the kids. Well, he screwed that one up. He deserves all the negativity he gets. I don't care what color he his. IMO don't throw the book at him, throw the whole book shelf.
The Mrs.'s thought the bike accident might be a good opportunity for him to get better looking. Now, he looks like he could care less how he looks. He is a joke and needs his butt kicked bad.
On the field, he has proven that he is a stud and I think he still has what it takes to be a winner.

The Browns should have gone after him.
The fans already hate him. They have tried getting QB's they like then hate after a few games.
Let's try the opposite, get someone they hate then after a few games we can say "I kind of like the guy" or "I told you so, I still hate him"
Better then being disappointed year after year.
