Wow! I would say that the rematch (if it occurs) would favor DSJ with neutral court and the old saying "it's tough to beat a team twice" let alone 2x in 2 weeks.

In the varsity game DSJ won the 3rd 16-4 and ottoville the 4th 14-2. It was an 18-18 second half but how it got there was strange.

Post buddy I have never heard that saying before lol. I believe the "old saying" is its hard to beat a team 3 times in a season. I have seen plenty of teams lose to the same team twice in a matter of a few weeks. I don't see DSJ being favored at all. Ottoville is clearly a better team just got a bit awakened by a good DSJ team. Regardless Ottoville did not play well at all but lets not take away DSJ. They are a team to watch out for as well as they always play Ottoville tough. But in a rematch I would take Ottoville by 12-15 points. We shall see though if that does happen.

Ottoville won at DSJ last year when the 'Jays lost Shelby Reindel to a knee injury in the 2nd quarter. Two weeks later DSJ trailed Ottoville by 10-12 at half in the district semi's but came back to win in 2 ot. Ottoville was a heavy favorite in that game. It can happen but it won't be easy.
DSJ also did not play well last night. Too many unforced turnovers. They'll have to play much better to win a rematch.

Sorry but I don't think Post has it right. Nothing against him or you but the saying is "its hard to beat a team 3 times" not 2 times. Like I said 2 times has been done ALOT. Well it doesn't matter who the favorite will be. Ottoville clearly did not play their best last night but to beat teams like DSJ, Jefferson and Miller City you have to otherwise they may surprise you. DSJ and Ottoville always give each other a game. I think both Delphos teams will play Ottoville in districts which will be tough road for Ottoville.
