If you go back and read all the posts, then you will notice that I have said countless times how I feel that the NCOSA will be weak this year. And you have to seriously look at what VB has....I know that the last two seasons have been a disaster but I think this year VB should go about .500 Should be able to handle the NCOSA schedule and out of league schedule is not over the top either...

I think your assessment of the NCOSA as "pathetic" is way off the mark too. Pathetic suggests that all teams are incapable of playing themselves out of a wet paper bag.

Having said that, this may not be the strongest field the league has presented. Agree with you there, but not with the earlier oversimplification & overstatement.

I highly doubt VB will keep up in the league.

This past year, it was CR and Riverdale, next year it'll be Ada and Riverdale, next year after this coming one, that's when VB will have their so called "season" to go to state.

Last year they were supposed to be the creme of the crop in the PCL and they came out in the first game and drew VB 0-0....dont overlook anyone.

Look at the age of their players compared too the other PCL teams. Ottoville and Kalida were both Senior dominated teams with some Junior starters, and they ended up being the best, Miller City, who gave up a good fight against both had something like seven sophmores starting for them....They play in a very competitive league....Ft Jennings, who I think will be good this year will be lucky to finsh in the top three in the PCl this season where if they played NCOSA they would be so far and above the next best teams, that its not even funny...

Kalida wasn't a senior dominated team. They had 2 senior starters one of them being their goalie and the other an outside defender. they had 6 juniors starting and 2 sophomores and a freshman...a lot of talent returning here..Kalida is easily in the top 3 and i would put them in second

All this talk of domination yet, strangely or maybe even miraculaously, NCOSA teams manged to do quite well against PCL teams.
