Congrats to OSU.

Pryor said he wants to help "Tress get over the hump and end the losing streak."

Pat White - 2 Star in Class of 2004
Steve Slaton - 3 Star in Class of 2005

This decision is the least of Michigan's worries - sometimes the best ones are the diamonds in the rough...GO BLUE!!!

Glad to hear he finally made his decision, and that he is a Buckeye!! Also good point Dawger, sometimes the star ratings don't mean a thing, I believe A.J. Hawk was only rated a "2" star coming out of high school and I think he did alright!!

I just can't wait for football season to start!!

Go Bucks!!

He was just on the news calling Ohio State the "University of Ohio State". I'm not sold on this kid. Hope his actual performance on the field is better than his speaking performance at the press conference. I hope Tressel doesn't have his hands full of attitude with him.

Would it have been better if he said "THE University of Ohio State"? laugh.gif

Give him a break on that. He was building suspense. University of .....would lead most to believe Michigan.

People continue to talk about his attitude and problems recently. He will be fine and excel under Jim Tressel and company, remember a young man by the name of Troy Smith his first couple seasons in Columbus. He turned out to be an alright person and player in Buckeye Nation.

There was never a doubt where Pryor was going to end up and I would not be suprised if he ends up playing basketball as well.

Everything worked out well for Steve Threet. Mallet leaves, Pryor doesn't show up, now he will be the man in charge. Threet is a legit QB and was Elite 11 following his senior year.

So...is Pryor playing hoops or not? If he does play basketball and redshirts in football, he might never step on the field as a Buckeye. He's probably good enough to go to the NBA after 1 season of basketball and would probably jump at the money.
Who will win the NWC in 2009?

I dont think the redshirt is going to happen in football. From the Sounds of the article in the Lima SNews, he's going to get some time this coming season.

tress is magic, plain and simple. he'll be able to calm the kid down and channel his attitude into a desire to work and bring another national championship to the bucks.

agreed on the university of ohio state thing, sounded dumb, but added to the suspense. i would assume by now he realized that it is THE ohio state university he'll be playing for.

Don't let me down.....
