I like the UFC and hope this is a success for both Fox and Dana White. I would love to see this sport go mainstream like boxing used to be.

I was wondering how the boxing pay per view would do with this being the same night, then I saw that it was only one fight. Still pretty cool.

I gotta go with Cain in this one, saw a ufc doc on them on fox a couple of weeks ago and it just seems like he is more focused on staying the man than junior is about becomming the man.

Apparently I should've tried posting a thread about ufc in the football forum lol, I did it in the other sports and the only posts I got were that MMA is stupid...

Too bad it was the same nighht as playoofs though, were there any undercard fights at all? On Spike or anything?

No undercards on Spike or Fox. Dana White took alot of criticism. He said he was just trying to introduce the people to UFC.

I can't get into UFC. My buddy Josh loves it tho. FWIW I don't care for boxing either.

I'm a big UFC fan. I get all of the PPVs and I go back to the very first ones from when I was in college. Cain came in tentative and looking a bit lumpy in the middle. Not surprised by the outcome. JDS may not be threatened for a while unless Brock or Alastair Overreem can really bring it.

Did anyone watch the fight Saturday night? I thought Mayhem actually had a chance after the first round, but it was clear he ran himself out of gas and took a beating the rest of the way from Bisping.

My sons been training with Jerry Poe and was to have his first MMA fight this past Sarurday. As luck would have it tho the other guy backed out of the match the nigt before. My son was very disappointed. His next fight will be in Feb. In Bellefontaine, Ohio. We did have a good time tho watching the other fighters.
