I hope you're using Amazon Smile. A percentage of each purchase you make goes to a charity of your choice (as long as they're on the list). Just makes sense to me!

I'll have to get some of this popcorn oil, for sure. Thanks!

I'd rather shower at Penn State than root for Michigan.

I've never even heard of amazon smile, mo. I'll def check it out though, as I probably have 5-10 orders per month and this would be a great, automatic way to make contributions with money I'm spending anyway. Thank you for the heads up!

Well now I know how Slicer and Flounder get that "fishy" smell......went down to Bridenbaugh's dam and a few other of my honey holes this afternoon hoping to catch a few early season smallies....wasn't having any luck with the rapalas....or the spinners.. so's I just turned over a few rocks til I got me a nice juicy crawler....well it was just like ol' Slicer said..... "they wuz hungry and they couldn't resist fresh meat!"....caught me 2 nice ones and boy, did my hands smell "fishy"...

Not for my popcorn, I do not.
I actually use five different salts in my cooking. Regular Morton's table salt, sea salt, kosher salt, Maldron finishing salt and Flavacol for my popcorn and French Fries. It's (Flavacol) got a butter flavor to it, but, it's not noticeable on your fries or other deep fried foods. I like it particularly for my popcorn and fried foods 'cause it's a very fine grind, almost powderish.
Sounds like I'm a salt nut, but trust me, I'm not. In fact, my doctors are always telling me to up my salt intake 'cause of my constant dehydration and malnutrition issues. They want me to sprinkle salt in my drinking water. NOT HAPPENING! Lol I just appreciate the nuances that different salts add to various dishes, therefore tend to have several on hand. I've actually been eyeing some other interesting salts I've seen, pink, being one of them. If/when I get it, I'll let you know how it is. :)

We used to use flavocol a lot. Not sure why we quit. Probably has some preservative in it that my wife is allergic to. We use sea salt almost exclusively now. Of course my wife always complains that I put too much butter and salt on my popcorn. Eh-I like flavor!! lol
