Patrick Henry beat Holgate last night so they will advance along with Napoleon to districts. They still have to play to see who is one and two seed.

Fairview beat Tinora to clinch a berth in districts, and then Defiance beat the Apaches 15-4 to clinch the 1 seed out of the county.

In the District 1 tournament, Napoleon beat Fairview, Bryan beat Evergreen, Defiance beat Patrick Henry and Archbold beat North Central.
Fairview and Evergreen, plus NC and PH will play elimination games tomorrow. Napoleon meets Bryan in the winners bracket while Archbold will play Defiance.

Did Dace Kime finish off the no-hitter? They were going to the top of the 7th when we left. Just got to cold for the youngsters.

Kime did indeed finish off the no-no. 16 strikeouts, no hits, 4 walks in 7 innings.
In Thursday's action, Defiance beat Archbold 9-3, Fairview beat Evergreen 14-2, Bryan beat Napoleon 8-2, and Patrick Henry beat North Central 14-7. Defiance and Bryan now move on to play the winner's bracket final, with Evergreen and North Central eliminated.
