Let me know if you change your mind after going to a game at North Baltimore's football stadium.
If you want to call it that....been to both places. No comparison.
Oh....and it had ZERO to do with drive times. At all.

NB brings zero to the table other than a new school. Say what you want about Dino Woodruff, but his assessment of the situation over there in the Courier was correct.

From a football prospective Elmwood hasn't had anything to get excited about in the NBC. I don't think they've won any games they shouldnt have.
And yes, winning more games is usually a good thing. Tends to get more kids out.

So what if it is the reason?

Before you speak on behalf of PH you might want to check with PH's superintendant. He definitely has interest and asked lots of questions on the alignment and schools involved. It appears he was not advised of the BVC expansion talks last summer. Ph has some classes coming up that will be in the 65 count. Loss of numbers and athletes will make it tough for PH to compete with schools twice their size. and by the way.... PH was not included in the most recent invitation by the BVC.

It isn't.
i have had more than one person who sat inside that original meeting verify the statement.
Mainly because I laughed in disbelief the first time I heard it.
But both sides have moved on. So be it.
I personally thought adding H-L and Calvert would be a great fit in the BVC.
I do think Ada and Riverdale would be good fits.

If they can keep the grass mowed and the field lined right they'll already be a step ahead of Vanlue.

Amen to this post........ but I think (unfortunately) that NB was brought in to make the smaller schools happy about the expeansion.
