Would Patrick Henry really be interested in leaving the NWOAL? Lots of history to leave behind.

I couldn't figure out why you take North Baltimore (still shaking my head over that one) but turn the cold shoulder on Calvert. And now apparently about to do it again, based on what you found out.
Who would want that drive to Tiffin? Hopewell-Louden will be far enough for Leipsic and P-G. Maybe that's why.

Let me know if you change your mind after going to a game at North Baltimore's football stadium.

If you want to call it that....been to both places. No comparison.

Oh....and it had ZERO to do with drive times. At all.

If you are bringing in HL anyway, what is it, another 10 minutes to get to Tiffin's field? Riverdale isn't exactly next door to Leipsic or PG either. I suspect the reason TC was snubbed is not distance anyway.

I know distance wasn't the issue - we all know what it is/was.

NB brings zero to the table other than a new school. Say what you want about Dino Woodruff, but his assessment of the situation over there in the Courier was correct.
Always a watchful eyes on those Tiffin Calvert Senecas, Marion Local Flyers, Fort Loramie Redskins , New Albany Eagles.

No way Elmwood leaves the NBC for the BVC. That would be a huge step backwards....unless they're just looking to win more games. They're competitive in the NBC in everything...why would they leave?

A step backwards?

From a football prospective Elmwood hasn't had anything to get excited about in the NBC. I don't think they've won any games they shouldnt have.

And yes, winning more games is usually a good thing. Tends to get more kids out.

So what if it is the reason?

Before you speak on behalf of PH you might want to check with PH's superintendant. He definitely has interest and asked lots of questions on the alignment and schools involved. It appears he was not advised of the BVC expansion talks last summer. Ph has some classes coming up that will be in the 65 count. Loss of numbers and athletes will make it tough for PH to compete with schools twice their size. and by the way.... PH was not included in the most recent invitation by the BVC.

No one correctly named the four schools that they are targeting. They have all been mention but not in the same post.

How about Elmwood, Ada, Bluffton, Grove

It isn't.

i have had more than one person who sat inside that original meeting verify the statement.

Mainly because I laughed in disbelief the first time I heard it.

But both sides have moved on. So be it.

I personally thought adding H-L and Calvert would be a great fit in the BVC.

I do think Ada and Riverdale would be good fits.

It's not Elmwood. Coach B has already said that.

I'm just saying that if it is Carey, they are probably wasting their time there. Carey doesn't want to leave Mohawk.

Elmwood isn't one if the teams...I asked Coach B about 5 minutes after he tweeted about this subject.

If they can keep the grass mowed and the field lined right they'll already be a step ahead of Vanlue. :wedgie:

True, but its not like your bringing in LCC or anything like that. They would have made the BVC better than NB ever will.

Amen to this post........ but I think (unfortunately) that NB was brought in to make the smaller schools happy about the expeansion.
