I would imagine football would compete in the BVC while other sports would play in both leagues. Similar to what Leipsic and Pandora do with the PCL.

A few thoughts....
1. Tiffin's newspaper sports department has disappeared. I think they have managed one story in the last YEAR over all the league movement that affects every school in their coverage area. It's absolutely pathetic. Today's story about NB and HL was buried in a school meeting report.
2. The MAL could probably pull this off with dual membership, similar to the BVC/PCL. Remember, basketball schedules will expand to 22 games. If you think about it, HL and NB would more than likely schedule the remaining MAL schools for non-league anyway.

Always a watchful eyes on those Tiffin Calvert Senecas, Marion Local Flyers, Fort Loramie Redskins , New Albany Eagles.

Correct. North Baltimore's BOE is supposed to meet tomorrow. Expect a 5-0 vote to go to the BVC from NB.

Saw in Tiffin paper today that MAL has approached HL and NB about keeping MAL together as a non-football league so HL and NB could play football in BVC but all other sports in MAL.....I would think BVC would not want that as they would want all sports to compete in BVC as they need a couple more wrestling teams as well. BVC will probably tell them either you are in all the way or not at all. I doubt HL and NB even would consider that as MAL seems to be grasping at straws at this point.
Story in the Review Times makes it sound like H-L is very serious about dual membership in both the BVC (all sports) and the MAL (all sports except football).

I read the Times article....how could 3 HL athletic counsel members vote against joining the BVC? If they want a decent football schedule, they had no choice.
It's still hard to believe the MAL fell apart. Lots of good rivalries. I can tell you football nights for Calvert will never be the same by not playing the area county schools.
I wonder if H-L and Calvert will try to schedule each other for a NL football game. It would be a tough gate to give up for either side. Maybe week 3?
