Pretty accurate. All seem to be in the right spots. St. Marys has some nice swings on that team

St. Marys gets their tourney started against Kenton on Thursday, excited to call them for the first time this season as man they can hit the baseball.
Don't find fault, find a remedy.

Ugh...2 years in a row a close loss to Bath has cost Defiance an accomplishment (basketball regional last year).

Good win for St. Marys 3-0 over Kenton, they'll get Bath on Thursday in Bluffton. Celina and Wapak is the 415pm game

Wow, the top 2 seeds at the WBL district go down, no league teams have yet lost to a non-league team, and Van Wert and O-G scored shutouts over two top 10 MAC teams. Guaranteed 2 WBL teams in a regional this year.

Still undefeated against non-league teams. Bath makes the regional semi with a 14-14 record. Three WBL teams in regional semis.

Some notes:
After winning 7 WBL titles in a row, Defiance now has more state titles in the last 3 years than WBL titles.
Like basketball, the baseball team did not win the league, but avenged regular season losses in regional semifinal games.
Only 7 schools in Ohio now have more baseball state titles than Defiance, 4 of which are private schools.
Poland's starter in the state final had given up 6 earned runs all year, and he gave up 4 in the title game.
The other 3 title winners this year were private schools.
Also interesting is that all title games in baseball and softball involved shutouts except both Division II games.
Defiance is now 10-2 in state tournament games across all sports, including 5-0 in title games.
With 4 state titles in the last 3 school years, Defiance has passed O-G for most team state titles among WBL schools, with 6 total.
After losing just twice against non-league teams in the basketball tournament, WBL teams went 14-1 against non-league teams (22-9 overall) in the baseball tournament. The only loss was Van Wert in the regional semifinal.

What a great group of athletes. I say its time for Held to run for Mayor and get the heck out of there
