I'm not a fan of his by any means, but I don't live in that district so it makes me no difference who their coach is.
That said, I'd say he's pretty well liked over there.

He's resigning because he wants to become a Principal somewhere.

I DO live in the Paulding district, and while I didn't personally go to school there basically my whole family did and one of them played for Brewer (on their "dream team" that lost in the district finals in 11, in fact). Literally ALL i heard that year from parents and Paulding fans was how bad of a coach Brewer was and how the kids AAU coach would have had more success. During the most successful season Paulding had had in decades, they still did nothing but complain.

They finally got their wish and I'm betting they'll be regretting it in a season or 2.

Could always bring back his predecessor. LOL

Ada fills their opening, Dre White, previously varsity asst coach of Allen East takes over the reins. Dont know much about him but like the fact Ada school board went outside the box (district) to hire. Hopefully Dre lights a fire in the kids and bings a new intensity to the program

What seem seems to be the issue at Ada with hoops? Do they have alot of their better athletes just play football now or what? Seems like a school with so many great football players should be pretty good in hoops too?

Not sure Common Sense, Ada should have decent sport teams all around but BBall& BaseBall just doesnt seem to attarct the athletes. Maybe coaching, maybe other factors, not sure

Fostoria St. Wendelin not in these leagues but I see they are in another coaching search. Seem they cannot keep a coach more than a year or two. Girls program has had great success but boys have struggled for years.

Their girls are done. I'm hoping to get them on Continental's schedule so we can improve our numbers in the win column.

Even though I was a HS coach for 9 years in the '90s, I have no idea while people continue to coach at the HS level. The sad part is that when I went into private business I made 3X as much money as I did my last year of coaching/teaching. Plus I never had a parent call my at my business, never had my car shoe-polished, and I went home at 5:00 every day as opposed to 10:00 most nights in coaching.
