Wait....are you seriously saying you're considering the results of scrimmages as a way to determine how good teams are??

It's the same players, the same ball the same hoop,so YES it does mean something, that tou can compete.

How can you win 4 out of 5 quarters!!!!
well,it goes like this,if you score more points than the other team in that 8 minutes then you WIN that quarter,, at least in my eyes .

So let's say this....and it happens a lot in scrimmages...exactly like this

Team A scrimmage Team B

1st quarter...all 5 starters on the floor for both teams.....Team A wins 24-10
2nd quarter....both teams start subbing Team B wins 10-9
3rd quarter.....all subs on the floor for both team....Team B 14-13
4th quarter....back to starters for half the quarter....Team B 15-14
5th quarter....both teams trying new things....and different combos....Team B wins 8-6

So Team B won 4 or 5 quarters......right...and goes home and tells everyone

Final Score Team A 66 Team B 57

Just sayin'

Oh, I understand that part, but there are only 4 quarters in a game......so, like Charlie mentioned that you may be including scrimmages in the Knights rise to fame.....and to that I say.....who does that”.....scrimmages mean nothing!!!!!

Yes ,some experiments take place, but mostly players play and coaches coach. You dont think the Knights could hang with the tigers, fine,we will never know. You seem smart,it comes down to matchups ,and C'view matches up well with the tigers, I know,I seen it.

niether do early losses at the start of the season or last night's game for that matter, the only thing that matters is the next game. " I have decided that this conversation no longer serves a purpose " Hal 9000.

Oh, I think last night’s game means a lot....and I was just trying to figure out the logic....if you noticed, I have been a big supporter of the Knights as I have seen them play early when they were just a good team, but now they are playing like a fine tuned machine....what is even more scary is that I don’t think they have even reached their potential......I really do see them in Cbus!!!!!

Speaking of the last game, the Aces are an intresting team, they are sooo small, but they are very quick and able to elevate. They also play very smart.

CK.......but still the Knights blew them out....I kind of feel for these teams up that way.....the only way my Jays play them is if we meet up in regional....recall one year we met Hilltop in the finals with a chance to go to state and drilled them by 20. That should never happen in the regional finals....actually, our sectional and district are usually tougher than the regional.....the Knight juggernaut will continue to roll!!!!!

I don't think the final score told the whole story, CK went on a run to end 1st half ,up by only 3 at half. Also a guy who was averaging 16 pts 8 rebs was out from sprained ankle from Fri. Their guards are very good at ball pressure, we'll see what happens this week.

Me too. And I've had a lot of enjoyment at Frickers with many of them. Been hearing that 7/8 are not doing so well though.

I’m here. Been reading all the posts.

I’m very happy with where Crestview is right now. They haven’t been contested since their bad loss to Ottoville in December. Who knows about the Wayne trace game. It’s kind of a rivalry but when you go look at everyone’s schedules.... I think Crestview has separated themselves now from everyone. I think Ft Loramie would have their hands full. Some people referenced Versailles. That being because they play Loramie. Crestview handled Versailles. That was what was being mentioned as the only correlation between the two schools.
Keep in mind Crestview has been without kalen Etzler who brings 6’6 matchup nightmare and total depth.

CK.....

So is Etzler coming back soon......not saying it would be good or not, but it seems that the Knights have some good chemistry going on right now and if he does come back one wonders how it will effect that......I was at the Versaille/Loramie game and Loramie is everything Crestview is except maybe a bit more defensive oriented.....it will take a monumental effort to beat either Crestview or Loramie!!!!!!

I wish him and the Knights good luck. I hate to see a kid on the bench with an injury.

Yes. He should be returning soon !!! And yeah the chemistry can get all screwed up but the players love him and he’s coachable. Just a superb talent !!!
