to the Lady T-Birds on their Northwest Conference Championship!!!

Way to go ladies!! Awesome season! I'm not quite sure what the final record is, but I believe they only lost a couple games all season.....Maybe someone else has some stats for us.

Again, congrats Lady T-Birds!!!

wonderful

The boys have won golf, football (yes this year also) and are the best in the NWC in boys soccer. They swept the all league trophy last year and look well on their way again this season.

Maybe it's time for stevie to start drinking "The Prophet", Lima Jock's kool-aid, eh stevie???!!!???!!! whistling.gif

He has stated since LCC joined the LCCNWC, that they would pretty much monopolize all conference titles for the next 5 years or so.......lol

Thanks Slice. The girls closed out the season today with a 3-0 win over the Shawnee Indians. I beleive the T Bird's record is 18-2. Not sure of the # of games won but I do know they only lost 2, don't ask whom they lost to, I really cannot remember, but I beleive it was in the first week of the season. With only 2 Seniors leaving, look for a very strong Tbird team to return next year.

GOOD LUCK IN THE PLAY-OFFS LADY T-BIRDS!!

I don't want to take away from what the Volleyball team has done. However lets not say they are tops in everything. I know the NWC does not have boys soccer as a conference sport but LCC didn't beat Bluffton.

Hey RC we are not Elida! If you want to rough us up then you should do it on the appropriate thread which is now taking place on the football side. We get confused if we have to track to many of these! Hey I heard a rumor that PG has a really tall girl in the 7th grade that might be good at volleyball. know anything about this?

Also, the Player of the Year went to junior JoJo Krieg of LCC. Not sure why the article wouldn't mention who the player of the year was, but oh well. She's still not the best athlete in that family tongue.gif lol

Lima News today paper mentions POY for the NWC. Congratulation to Jo Jo Krieg on this honor. As she is only a Junior, it's hopeful to see if she repeats this her senior year.

Yea, hopefully she'll be fortunate enough to repeat. That would be a great feat for sure.

But, as I'm sure JoJo knows, these individual titles don't mean anything unless you perform well in the tournament. She's come along way this year, not only as a player but as a leader. I know she was a little disappointed in how she played in the tournament the last couple seasons, but there's no doubt in my mind that she'll have a great tournament this year.

With a couple years of tournament experience under these girls' belts, hopefully they can make a nice tournament run and knock off a powerhouse or two.

And congratulations on winning the Sectional Tournament with a 3-0 win over Allen East today. Good-luck vs Columbus Grove on Tuesday. Prepare for a tough fight. I'm sure Grove will give it their best shot.

I just heard from LCC that their District Final game at Perrysburg tomorrow has been moved to 3:00 to accommodate girls taking the ACT. Good-luck against Cardinal Stritch.
