Wow 16 seniors. Looks like LB will have plenty of leadership and experience this season. How many starters did they lose from last years team.

we lost our keeper and 2 midfielders. the keeper was the only one that had any leadership skills tho...we're all looking to step up this year. we'll have a tough time fielding 2 teams after this year, numbers arent very good with the upcoming freshmen

I thought Thieman was a pretty good keeper last year, but for some reason I thought he was a junior last year. Who is looking to take his spot this year and how good is he.

From what i hear, regarding a formation of BVC league....

there are several school pushing petitions to have soccer added to their school sponsered sports. most schools in the BVC, are not really going to have their football program that affected by the loss of participants to soccer. Its givin that schools like van lue and arcadia would have trouble fielding a team... but i think schools around CR and Arlington could do this easily and still have a "good" football program... its complete BS to think that arlington and CR (which already has soccer) would lose anything in football. Just a bunch of ADs reliving their glory days in football, unwililng to accept the inevitable future, and fighting it to the end. Soccer already rules the world, its time to start changing america.

man u fan. thieman was a senior this year. he has a younger brother though on the team that was a junior last season. this season we have a pretty talented junior keeper by the name of bill cody. hes tall and lanky like thieman and with some hard work this season i can see him being just as good if not better

Considering that there is not a BVC Soccer League...LB, Van Buren, and CR all have showed that they can play with PCL teams through out the years and even beat them whistling.gif
