know who is the Big Tens all-time win percentage leader in conference
play? Bob Knight?(3 National titles)
Gene Keady, Fred Taylor(national title, 2 other runner ups), Jud
Heathcote(National Title), Tom Izzo(national title), Bo Ryan?, Thad Matta? If you
guessed Thad Matta, followed by
percentage points by Bo Ryan you are correct.
Thad, @ .711 before today’s game, and Bo, @.707. With TODAY’S LOSS to That team up
Northwest, Bo goes ahead of Matta, .708 to .707. Deal with it Thad.
If Thad could coach as well as he recruits he would be legendary.

I'd put Izzo, Painter, Belein and Ryan all ahead of him for sure.
Little early to make the call on Crean yet although he has some great talent he is bringing in...let's see what he does with it.

I can agree with VIc on this. Matta could have made a statement in being in this discussion if this year ends up turning around, but OSU has not done well as of late, and better coaches seem just be able to get teams to play better as the season wears on.

You don't have to double him and you do not have to guard Craft so Buford and Thomas aren't able to get quality looks....
and I hate to say it....they miss Diebler....he really stretched the floor.

Pretty bad? I would say the guy has done an exceptional job so far. He has definitely turned this program around. I would certainly put him in the top 3 at least maybe 2nd best coach in the big ten. Ill agree Tom Izzo is by far the best, but to say Matta is pretty bad is absurd.
By the way coaches don't take bad shots in games, players do.

Just goes to show how difficult it is to make it to the Final Four and/or win a national championship. We all do realize they are 24-6 this year with 11 underclassmen, right?!?!

Izzo, because of consistency and the amount of Final Fours to which he has led the Spartans.
Ryan, because of consistency while doing it with underrated, no-name players. The guy just wins, period.
