Now they we have a good sample siz ofe last season's Ohio Mr. Basketball Trey Burke as a frosh at UM,
Who’s better?

I am not sure. Aaron is a great pg. for the system in place @ OSU, but I still think this is
a push. Aaron is an elite defender, but Trey is no slouch on the defensive end of
the court either, with Trey being a better shooter, a better finisher and scorer. I
hope I’m wrong, but I think Trey is just as good. He will play in the NBA for a
long time; Craft will be a LEGEND in the Worthington Summer league until he’s 50.
Trey may even be a poor man’s Chris Paul, he’s that good. Keep in mind, he’s from
COLUMBUS, not michigan.

BTW I am an OSU fan, but this is my opinion. Please weigh in with your take backed up with reasoning.

Defended? I don't see teams exactly laying off Craft. Pieces around him? He makes those pieces better.

No one has ever said Craft is the best player on the team. He does however run the Buckeyes' squad effectively. Probably more effectively than anyone else could. It's a shame that defensive intensity, hustle and intangibles aren't measured by a stat because that's all that matters to certain people. It's plain as day though, if Craft gets into foul trouble watch how stagnant the Buckeye offense becomes because he is such a good point guard.

Don't waste your time. He was totally off on Aaron and won't admit it. AC is the heart and soul of the team.

The games they lost is the result of the most over rated college player. William Buford!! Down 2 at IU and throws up a force 3 pointer. He is shooting 43.4% from the field. Not very good for a supposely NBA 1st round draft choice.

Scott played 4 minutes. Not much to compare to. He did get 2 steals in the 4 minutes and no turnovers.

Well they went head to head with Trey ending up 5/11 shooting.....Aaron weighed in with 3/4 shooting. Granted Burke had 13 points but I will take a 75% shooting night anyday over sub 50%
Trey is a very good player and a good fit for Michigasn right now. Thing is, IF he would be at OSU this year, he may have filled Scotts role, but not Crafts

And defensive wise, Craft is much better. If there is a better point guard who is better defensively in college basketball, let me know who that is. I have yet seen a better one.

Defensive intensity accounts for nothing to a lot of people. It's all about the final numbers to them. Granted almost 99% of the time Craft guards these studs they don't look nearly as good as they do against anyone else on their schedule. Case in point Brandon Knight and Jordan Taylor's game in Columbus.

Craft impacts the game as much defensively as most elite scorers do offensively. He may not always end up with the steal but he causes turnovers at a ridiculous rate or simply doesn't allow an opposing guard to dribble where he wants to.
