Are the winds of change happening in Kalida? Coach Stober's three trips in a row to regionals and a trip(possibly 2) to state and Coach McBride's baseball team and their 3 trips to regionals and 1 to state in the last 3 seasons. Almost makes you think that KHS students have a real passion for v-ball and b-ball doesn't it? Are you getting a little spoiled? Have you any idea how impressive this is? It just doesn't happen like this often. We talk about Delphos St. John,Coldwater and St. Henry making regionals or state playoffs in various sports in consecutive years-what about these two programs and the coaches making your school thought of a little bit in the same light as the MAC schools? Has to make you proud.

Congrats to the Ladycats and fans and represent the county well !!

And I thought K-town was a basketball capitol. Oh, by the way, don`t they have a golf program that sends teams to state just about every year too?

Actually, Kalida has had good teams for a long time. we have had a team in regionals or state every year since 2001.

01 and 02 - soccer team went to state
03 - golf team went to state
04, 05, 06 - baseball team went to reagionals with a trip to state in 06
02, 04, 05, 06 - volleyball team went to regionals with a trip to state in 04 (possible 06?).

Doctor, we do send a golf team to state about every year. we had a stretch of something like 18 straight years where the golf team went to state.
