2 Columbus area schools. May be the lowest attended game of the weekend and possibly one of the lowest attended all- time in the modern era. 5,000-6,000 prediction would be generous.

Will be awful. Archbold losing cost Columbus some $$$......would’ve brought a ton of people

Can some explain how two teams with the same area code (614) ended up in different regions?? Seems like this should have been addresssed with competive balance

Good point. Take all those cheatin fools and slam em in the same region.
Somehow they get a choice where they go if they are in Columbus.

Competitive Balance is working????? I guess they would both be D4 if not for competitive balance. Both schools limit enrollment and draw from a population area of over 700,000. Until they learn how to fix that, the problem will never be solved.

No one will wanna go watch that late D3 semi on Thursday night. State Tournament isn’t near what it once was, and then you get garbage match ups like this one....just awful. Give me NCAA Sweet 16 Basketball Thursday night now without question

Well said. But it will never change. The gutless OHSAA will only make token, cosmetic changes. But let's be real if the public schools would unite and have the stones to force real change and put real pressure on this corrupt organization and threaten to leave, nothing is gonna change.

I'm guessing total attendance at this game by fans from the two schools themselves will be less than 500.. Agree with Falcon, being Thursday late game with the NCAA tourney on, this game likely will be lowest attendance in state tourney history. I think some people will be intrigued to see Harvest Prep....but if word about the D-up woman reaches Columbus, that intrigue could be cancelled out by the possibility of having to listen to that noise for an hour and a half :)

The OHSAA puts the same number of teams in region. Columbus had too many Districts to feed into one regional...so one district winner went to Athens....the other went to BG Harvest Prep was seeded higher....and chose the district that fed into Athens....so obviously Africentric goes away from them and ends up in BG. No different than when SVSM got sent to the UT regional during the Lebron days.....and may have cost OG a couple more state titles. Not the best scenario for NW Ohio, but not sure how you'd fix it

It’s only a matter of time and the OHSAA will be gone....I hate to see it, but with club sports and AAU looming big athletes think more in terms of club sports and AAU over high school sports....I hope the OHSAA can come up with a solution!!!!!

Yes, starting with Stried, Snodd, and the rest of the crooks...this could be the year that the boys tournament actually loses money....

Could be the worst year EVER for the scalpers......D3, you won’t be able to give them away....D2, ditto......D1, they need the Moeller Roller....D4, will have the best attendance and I’m guessing none breaks the 10K barrier.....

I guess I didn't realize they had a choice of their district. Seems like that shouldn't be allowed cuz no one else chooses their district

Dr. Dan and Dr. Debbie have high school sports really messed up. I heard they hired 2 new guys, Sum Ting Wong and Ho Lee Fook, to clean up the mess.
