When will the Cleveland Indians offer a decent contract to a key player?? Not to Jim Thome or Cliff Lee! Next on the block Masterson! They are offer about 8 million, Scherzer in Detroit just signed a 15 million, 1 year deal! Will the Dolan's sign Masterson to 10 to 12 million for a year? Don't it! They are already letting pitchers go and Masterson will be next if they don't get to the negotiating table and sign him soon.

My wish for the success of the Cleveland Indian baseball club is,that the Dolan's sell the team. The tribe needs an owner who not only has the money to buy the team, but money to run it too. Cash to sign top notch players as well as run a quality minor league / scouting program to bring in great players. Much like Dick Jacobs did. Dolan's had money to buy, but not enough to run the program. Masterson will not be an Indian much longer. Either a trade for "great young talent" or signing elsewhere. That's the way they do things along the lake.
