It will be interesting to see what effect having the mound moved back to 43 feet will have on offenses and defenses

Don't you think there will be a huge increase in the offense? When baseball moves from the jr. high distance of 54 feet to 60 feet, the ball looks like it's in slow motion. Moving the mound back will obviously help the hitter, the bigger thing is the stolen bases will increase significantly.

One would assume so, but breaking balls will have more room to break.

Hmmmmm.... Well to my knowledge she went 3 for 3 with a stolen base! Very good athlete.....and if i remember right her elbow was messed up too... Shows how tough she can be.

Who do they have???

I have thought there was plenty of talent up in the BVC and PCL that we never hear of in Lima.

I know most fans do not follow ladies softball in Ohio. It is big out here in So. Calif. Is Crestview loaded again to the hilt like usual? I umpire HS softball out here and follow the Ohio softball closely. Thanks, have a great weekend......

Did Deppe and Jordan transfer????

No, but it looks like a good thing for Shawnee that the Bulloch kid had cold feet last year and decided not to open enroll to Bath. Without her pitching, Shawnee would probbly be .500. She's been awesome the last 2 years. Strong arm, pitched 2 straight games in 1 day this year already. Hope they know what their doing over there and dont hurt her arm. Too many pitchers get used up in high school and spend the next year dealing with shoulder or arm surgery.

Hope not. We are one of the best teams in the state and can't lose our top pitcher. Probably too early in the season to pitch both ends of a double header.
