I know this is a basketball thread, but by your reasoning...... Does that mean Dan Marino is NOT one of the greatest QB's to play the game?

Man you read my mind. You do not have to win a ring to be the best or in the top five. One man cannot do it all or win a championship. Lebron has taken the Cavaliers to new heights and to say he has to have a ring to be considered is just not reality. He is one of the best players to play the game. He can be a one man show but, to do that consistently all season and in playoffs is unlikely. Dan Marino is by far one of the best with no ring.
