Do yopu prefer an 8 or 10 team conference? Also, if your in a conference of only 8 teams, which additional teams would you add if you had the power?
I had the last laugh. Muahahaha

8 is ideal number in football when looking to maximize points. The 3 non league games are vital.

10 is a horrible number to have. 1 non conference game is just not enough. That has been LB's problem for many years, especially when the rest of their league was all div 6. I also think 8 is ideal. And you definitely wouldn't want to add 1 and go to 9. That really don't work.

8 football schools and some non football schools that allow for easier scheduling in other sports.

WBL has been running fairly fine with 10 for a lot of years. The key to only playing 1 non league game as a league is having almost everyone win. We had some lean years playoff wise when we were all losing week 1, but now we're back to getting 3-4 teams in a year since we're winning a majority again.
But I'd still rather see 8. Along with the added point potential, it just gives more flexibility to the schedule. More games for potential non league rivalries, and it does kind of get boring when you're in a 10 team league and have an established, historical rivalry to play week 1 to play the same 10 teams year in and y ear out.
