why is this so hard to find every year? :shrug2:
seems most of the time we always have to piece it together from each school posting whom it is they know is representing their team..... there should be someplace easy to access the whole roster(s).

I ran copies of it, but can't remember where it was. I can't find it anywhere now.

I think the WBL has a better squad this year as opposed to last year, but the NWC/MAC roster is still leaps and bounds better in my opinion. They need to add another conference for the WBL whether it be a BVC or GMC addition, they need to throw some others in. I realize in terms of size, it's rather equal, but based on the location of the game and the travel of some of the WBL teams, it doesn't quite work in the WBL's favor.

At any rate, always a fun game to watch in non football season and another opportunity to watch and have some of the guys play some more ball...win or lose. No complaints there.

I will put my money on Mauk. Last time he coached the WBL squad he turned a kid that never quarterbacked in high school to the MVP.

No OG players are on the WBL roster....so I'll take the MAC/ NWC to win.

Watching a bit of the replay and it seems they need to change the name of the game. The announcers said the MAC was only represented by two schools: one player from Versailles and five from DSJ. The roster link posted here also had a player from Minster. Out of 33 players, at most 7 from the MAC from 3 of the ten MAC schools.

A new ref crew for each quarter? That makes NO sense.

It's usually always that way. A lot of it is simply proximity to Van Wert and distance traveled for some of the players during the week for practice. It's generally Delphos/LCC vs. Van Wert/Bath/Elida/Shawnee.

I think it would be more viable in a place like Lima which is more centrally located for all the member schools although it would be more biased there as well.

Other schools like Versailles, Coldwater, Bremen, Ada, Kenton, Defiance, Bluffton, etc. really don't have a lot of players play in the game most years and it's mostly because they are farther away in my opinion.

It's cause most of the MAC schools are taking their senior trip the week after the state baseball and track&field weekend.

The game is a fundraiser for the Vam Wert booster club so its not going anywhere. Its an exhibition game with special rules and dosnt intend to represent anything official at all.

The OHSAA used the event as an clinic for the officials. Who won is meaninless. It never has proved anyting as most of the teams are not represented by their best players.
